Junior Mike Hoy scored all of his game-high 18 points in the second half to lead Geneseo past host Fredonia, 72-68. Hoy finished 5-10 from the field, 3-5 from the arc and 5-8 from the line for the Blue Knights. Geneseo trailed 18-11 early in the first half, but came back to tie it at 32 with two seconds left in the half on a three-pointer by first year, former Stepinac Crusader, Thomas Decker, who finished with nine points on 3-3 from the field, 1-1 from the arc and 2-2 from the line. In the second half, the closely contested game was broken open when the Blue Knights used an 8-2 run to take a 63-56 lead. Sophomore Ryan Riefenhauser hit 7-10 from the floor on his way to 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists and first year Jordan Jones hit 6-12 from the field and 2-4 from the stripe for 14 points. Junior Abe Miller added six points and seven caroms and first year Lamont Stokes hit 4-5 on his way to nine points. Geneseo moves to 8-8 overall and 2-7 in SUNYAC and travels to Brockport on Friday.
